Why Do I Need To Verify My Identity?
BlockFi Login may sometimes require you to verify your identity before approving withdrawal, including 2FA reset requests and email change requests.
All Identification Documents must be verified using the Person Details link emailed to you, and we will not ever send you this link via SMS messages.
What Is Blockfi Used For?

Blockfi Login Steps
Go to https://app.blockfi.com/signup from a browser on your computer, or download and open the BlockFi app on Android or iOS to get started.
1. Create your account
- Choose or click Start.
- You will be asked for certain data. Please ensure the entry of accurate information in order to avoid any issues.
- Legal first name (we’ll ask for proof)
- Legal last name/surname (we’ll ask for proof)
- Email address (use one that you have access to)
- Create a password (write this down and store it in a secure place)
- Referral code (leave blank if you’re not signing up with a referral code)
- Read the Terms & Conditions, Interest Account Terms of Service, and Privacy Policy.
- Check the boxes and click Submit if you agree.
- BlockFi will send you a verification email to your registered email address.
2. Verify your email
Click the link that you received from the message from BlockFi. This email will be from BlockFi Support ([email protected]).
Clicking the link in the email will take you to app.blockfi.com.
Sign back into your BlockFi account using the email you recently entered to complete the email verification procedure.
3. Verify your personal information
BlockFi is required to request specific personal data from customers to authorize their use of BlockFi services. You can learn more about how we use personal information in our Privacy Policies.
- Indicate whether you are signing up for an individual or company account. You will be prompted to add a phone number.
- Enter your address, then click continue. Enter an address that corresponds to the address on one of your valid government IDs, which you’re going to be asked to provide later in the signup process. Unfortunately, we are not licensed to provide BlockFi Interest Account and BlockFi securities trader services in New York.
- Enter your phone number, including the country code
How Much Does Blockfi Pay In Interest?
BlockFi enables you to borrow funds against your crypto assets with interest rates as low as 4.5%. You can receive funds on the same day and repay the loan when you’re ready to begin without paying any fees or penalties.
The following types of Cryptocurrency can be used as loan collateral:
- Bitcoin
- Ethereum (ETH)
- Litecoin (LTC)
- PAX Gold (PAXG)
How Much Does Blockfi Cost?
BlockFi charges a 2% origination fee for crypto-backed loans. The interest rate varies with an average of 4.50% and a maximum of 9.75%.
It is based on the loan amount to the value (LTV) ratio, which is how much the loan is worth relative to the amount of collateral provided. Borrowers who provide additional collateral enjoy lower interest charges.

How Much Does Blockfi Charge To Withdraw?
In 2022, over 75 percent of our crypto withdrawals were honored without transaction fees, stating that BlockFi was covering this cost.
Due to increased demand for such repayments, we’ve come up with a modest fee (in the range of $25) to pay for the costs associated with honoring that demand.
Does Blockfi Have A Debit Card?
